We had a lot of heavy work at SS tonight. A real lot!
NOTES: As you know, Wendy's was my fast food of choice. Never really ate at McDonalds much. In fact, I remember the first time my family ate there when I was about seven. For some reason, I hated it. Didn't go back for about 5-6 years. I can't even recall where there WAS a McDonalds in downtown Cincinnati at that time.

It used to be on Sixth street, right next to King's News (before it became a HUSTLER store in the 90s); the new Contemporary Arts Museum currently occupies that space.
(I miss Mickey D's downtown...:-()
Doh! Of course it was! How could I forget that? Was always bustling. Thanks, Joe! Say, you going to the Cincy Comic Expo downtown in September?
Now that that's coming back to me, I think there was also a smaller McD's up on Vine past seventh near The Music Mart.
I dunno...I wanted to go last year, but it was right in the middle of Oktoberfest, and I (sadly) can't navigate crowds like I used to back in the day...:-(
We didn't see a trace of Oktoberfest last year. We came over the 75 bridge, parked in a lot up a ways on Elm and walked back to the Convention Center. If I didn't know Oktoberfest was going on, I never would have guessed it. No crowds at all. Hope you can make it. If you do, look for me. I may have on my BOOKSTEVE shirt!
